I allow the viewer a window into my process. I display my blocks and ink as a testiment to my dicipline. By forming the wood blocks into three dimensional pieces I refurbish a traditionally flat medium into sculptural formations. I create and offer my lens on life, capturing my experiences through imagery. Process within work is as important as the product. I enjoy the labors of my system while travel and culture inspires me to create just as Norman Rockwell, Roy Lichtenstein, and Steve Ditko.

 

Printmaking, a once celebrated craft, has slowly become an artifact of its own environment. I branch the gap between the past that has shaped it and the new mold it needs to fill. My work holds and understands it own traditions so it can redefine its future.
